OUR PROCESS

From the first call to a clear care plan.

Families often reach out while several things are changing at once. Our process is designed to make the next decision easier to understand.

THE SHORT ANSWER

What families should know first

Care begins with a short conversation, an assessment of the home-care request, a practical plan, a caregiver match and a confirmed start—never an unsupported promise from a website form.

1. Tell us what is happening

Call, schedule an in-home consultation or send the short contact form. Share the care location, schedule, daily routines and kind of help you are considering. You do not need to send diagnoses or medical records through the website.

2. Clarify fit and priorities

We talk through what is getting harder, which tasks fit non-medical care, who is involved in decisions and what timing matters most. If Peacemaker is not the appropriate kind of provider, the scope should be clear before service begins.

3. Build the care plan

The plan identifies approved tasks, routines, schedule, communication expectations and service boundaries. Pricing varies with appointment length, days of the week and total hours, so it is discussed after the request is understood.

4. Match and orient the caregiver

Experience, personality, communication preferences, routine and schedule inform the match. Caregivers are oriented to the approved plan before service begins.

5. Confirm the start and stay involved

Depending on location, care needs, requested hours and caregiver availability, services may begin within 48–96 hours. This is not a guaranteed start time.

Once care begins, families should share meaningful changes so scheduling and the non-medical plan can be reviewed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about how care begins

Is the consultation required?

A conversation and assessment are needed before Peacemaker can confirm fit, timing, schedule and pricing. The website form itself does not create a care agreement.

What should the family decide in advance?

Know who will be the main contact, the care address, the routines that need help and the schedule you are considering. It is okay if some details are still uncertain.

What happens after the website form?

The information is sent securely to Peacemaker's contact system. A care coordinator reviews it and follows up during office hours to clarify the next step.
