About the service
Peacemaker supports older adults and adults with disabilities with non-medical assistance at home. Services may include personal care, companionship, respite, dementia support, recovery support and extended schedules.
About scheduling
Care may be available 24/7, but office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET. Exact schedules and start dates depend on the request and availability.
About payment
Rates vary with appointment length, days of the week and total hours. Insurers and VA control their own eligibility, authorization, coverage and reimbursement decisions.

What is non-medical home care?
It is practical and personal support with daily life at home, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, companionship and routines. It does not include skilled nursing or therapy.
Who does Peacemaker serve?
Peacemaker supports older adults and adults with disabilities when the requested help fits our non-medical scope and service availability.
Where is care available?
Peacemaker emphasizes Louisville and surrounding areas and also serves some clients outside metro Louisville. Call to confirm the exact address and schedule.
How soon can care begin?
Depending on location, care needs, requested hours and caregiver availability, services may begin within 48–96 hours. This is not a guaranteed start time.
Is care available overnight or on weekends?
Care may be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is separate from office hours and does not guarantee a specific schedule before availability is confirmed.
How much does care cost?
Rates vary with appointment length, days of the week and total hours. Peacemaker does not publish an unsupported universal hourly rate.
Does Peacemaker provide nursing or therapy?
No. Peacemaker provides non-medical home care and does not provide skilled nursing or therapy.
Can Peacemaker help with long-term-care insurance paperwork?
Yes. Peacemaker helps clients complete insurer-required service paperwork at no additional charge. The insurer and policy control coverage and reimbursement.
Does Peacemaker determine VA eligibility?
No. VA controls eligibility, clinical criteria, authorization, service availability and any copay.
What happens after I submit the form?
The request enters Peacemaker's contact system for a care coordinator to review. The team follows up to clarify fit, schedule and the appropriate next step.
